how does it work?

smllr.com uses a technology long known in the advertising world: a special scented coating is printed on your photos. all you have to do to bring the photo alive is tu rub it gently.

is it poisonous?

no. the synthetic scents used are based on natural aromatic substances, as used in flavoured food.

can you generate any scent?

basically, yes, the scent synthesis techology in use is one of the most advanced on the market. yet the analysis of existing scents is a painstaking process, so the creation of new scents takes a while. but we have already over 120 different scents in our database.

i am an allergic. are the scents dangerous to me?

all of our scents are tested before they are added to the database and harmless, but you can send us a list of substances you react allergic to and we'll block potentially dangerous scents for your account.

when will the service be available in europe?

We're sorry. We really are. But, the U.S. release is just the first step, so please rest assured, we are working as fast as we can to add printing partners on a worldwide basis. If you know of any good ones where you live, drop us a line.
